american idol is back!

american idol (season 7) is back with a vengeance! i'm so excited coz this is my fav show! who's gonna be the next american idol??!!

when i was watching the show the other night, i couldn't help but reminiscense who won the past seasons. let's see.. season 1 kelly clarkson, s2 rueben, s3 was it clay aiken? s4 carrie underwood, s5 taylor hicks, s6 jordin sparks. when i checked the internet, i was wrong for season 3. it was fantasia. guess news about her were scarce so i really couldn't remember.

preparations for cny

ok.. i'm quite in the mood to prepare for cny. these are the list of things to buy.

mum's list
1. 1 kg of roasted pork
2. the naughty one's leather belt
3. the naughty one's track pants
4. indoor plants (you know, the bamboo which twisted at the top)
5. a tin of clams
6. cookies

another less than 3 weeks to go before i go back to sibu. yipeeeeee!!!!!!
i am excited but not excited about the things i have to carry home. i don't like to check in my luggages because i hate the waiting i have to do at the baggage pickup area when i just want to go home as fast as possible.

i have to blog about these delicious donuts by J. Co. recently i intended to bring the naughty one to sunway lagoon but as my 'best friend' decided to make the monthly visit so i cancelled the plan. as we made our way back from the theme park, i stopped at J. Co to taste the donuts which had everybody raving about. but the ultimate donuts, i was made to understand were from krispy kreme which is not available in malaysia yet.

the donuts i bought.. aren't they colourful? i ate the least colourful ones first one by one. they tasted sweet and different from the regular donuts because of the generous toppings.

i managed to buy the famous salted chicken on my last trip to ipoh. it costs rm15/box for a small chicken.
