i've always wanted to be bad or wild or both. but it seems that is impossible due to my upbringing. although i have pierced my ears (3 holes on each), dyed my hair, driving with high speed, listened to wild music, i still can't get bad enough. i will always be reminded of my family and religion. these are the two reasons i can't be a bad girl. and i am thankful i am not a bad girl (just a little bit).

according to the news, genting founder tan sri lim goh tong has made his son tan sri lim kok thay, 55, the head of genting bhd. another person with blood relation in the mega company is his grandson, justin leong aged 28 who is the head of strategic investments. at the young age of 28, now that is an incredible feat.

jit shiong is my fav although i think angie will probably win the title judging from her superb performance in every challenge. jit shiong has the look, height and body of a model while michael is a little too thin for me. jit shiong is not very good in mandarin and he mainly converse in english if you watched the show. brandy has a wide face which i think is a no no for a successful model. angie is very professional and i have no complain on her. i hope jit shiong will win but if the title should go to angie, i will be contented too.

founder of genting dies at 90

KUALA LUMPUR: Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong, the founder of the Genting Group and one of the world’s richest men, died Tuesday. He was 90.

His son Tan Sri Lim Kok Thay said his father died at the Subang Jaya Medical Centre where he was admitted two days ago.

The funeral will be held on Monday.

“On behalf of my family and the Genting Group of companies, it is with great sadness I announce that my father and the founder of the Genting Group of companies passed away peacefully at 11.20am this morning.

“He was not ill. It was due to old age,” he told reporters at the hospital.

it's amazing to see how he built genting into what it is today. genting is one of the most popular holiday spots for many. even people from sibu or sarawak will make a stop in genting whenever they visit kl mainly to try their luck in the casino.

i was not approved to adopt a pet under the spca's angel's foster club programme. my lifestyle was deemed unfit to care for a young pup. here's an excerpt of the email from one spca person.


Thank you for your e-mail.
I am sorry to say that your working hours are not very suitable for fostering, the reason being that foster puppies need lots of care as the are usually very young.
Sometimes they even have to be cared for like babies.

You can however sponsor via donation under the fostering programme by donating puppy food, puppy shampoo, etc.. These donations in kind will then be given to fosterers to manage SPCA foster puppies.

getting a pet

i saw a tempting offer to adopt a pet temporarily in the spca website. the conditions were that i had to feed and gave shelter (no problem!) and not forgetting giving some TLC to the pet too. i had getting used to the fact that i had pet doggie(s) for most of my life and now i couldn't resist to getting another one. but i live in an apartment and so having a pup wouldn't be very much of a good idea. seeing this offer gave a fresh hope as it allowed me to have this pet for a period of time. i think i'm going to have my pet hoping that the people in spca approve me.

i've had a busy week. what with the new system we have to familiarise and the stream of neverending work.

i'm going to one utama tomorrow to get some stuff. looking forward to it to pamper myself with some good food, entertainment and talk.
